TechnoCom to Become Industry Partner with the European Emergency Number Association (EENA)

Brian McNiff, Vice President of Marketing, joins the European Emergency Number Association (EENA) Advisory Board to advance the 1-1-2 emergency communications policy.

Encino, CA (Issues Wire / PRWEB) February 11, 2008 -- USA TechnoCom Corp. announced today that Brian McNiff, vice president of marketing, has joined the European Emergency Number Association (EENA) to participate in advocacy to advance 1-1-2 and to establish public safety communications "112 centers of excellence" throughout Europe. TechnoCom is a leading provider of solutions to enable wireless location services and assure their ongoing performance.

The Belgium based European Emergency Number Association (www.eena.org) in coordination with the European Commission (EC) and European Parliament (EP) promotes the knowledge and efficient use of 1-1-2, the single European Emergency Call Number throughout Europe, by providing a forum for all organizations, enterprises and individuals involved with the development and implementation of 1-1-2. EENA's main objective is to actively endorse the standard, uniform use of 1-1-2, and work with European carriers, standard-setting organizations and other industry players to foster relationships that will improve the services offered to citizens in emergency situations.

Mr. McNiff brings considerable experience, energy and commitment to our charter for public safety and improved emergency response through 1-1-2. I look forward to working with him in serving the people and travelers of the European Union.
"I am pleased that Brian McNiff has agreed to join our advisory board," said Olivier Paul-Morandini, Founder of EENA. "Mr. McNiff brings considerable experience, energy and commitment to our charter for public safety and improved emergency response through 1-1-2. I look forward to working with him in serving the people and travelers of the European Union."

McNiff has over twenty years of experience in the high technology industry and has been involved in emergency communications networking and location technologies since 1999. As an active leader in the wireless and technology industry, he has been committed to deploying Enhanced 911 location services in North America and recognizes that mobile phones are one of the most important safety tools since the introduction of 911. Moreover, McNiff is committed to initiatives that foster the development, deployment, and use of intelligent, integrated safety systems to enhance road safety. His actions in the field of public safety have seen large successes.

"I am pleased that EENA has chosen to partner with TechnoCom to promote the advancement of 1-1-2 emergency response centers," said McNiff. "We are tremendously excited at the possibility this partnership holds for solving one of the most fundamental problems currently facing European citizens and travelers in need of communications during crises."
