WebmasterVote.org Endorses Mitt Romney for the Presidential Election in 2008
WebmasterVote.org announced their support for Mitt Romney in the 2008 presidential election.
Las Vegas, NV (Issues Wire / PRWEB) January 15, 2008 -- WebmasterVote.org announced their support for Mitt Romney in the 2008 presidential election. Based on the record and positions of the candidates, WebmasterVote.org determines that Governor Romney would best promote the future prosperity of the United States through sound economic and taxation policies.
To assess each candidate’s position on issues important to Internet users, WebmasterVote.org graded the candidates in taxation, social security, economic development, personal experience/education, immigration, social programs, electibility, and education areas. Governor Romney led all candidates, grading out at an A-, followed by Rudi Giuliani with a B+, Fred Thompson with a B, and John McCain with a C+.
Governor Romney’s grade was boosted most by his strong business record, positions on income/estate taxes, and economic competitiveness. Senator John McCain’s grade suffered because of his record and positions against free speech (McCain-Feingold Act) and democratic participation (McCain-Kennedy Bill). Governor Mike Huckabee’s grade, as well as the 3 major Democrat candidates, suffered because of their record and positions on taxes. Governor Huckabee's grade was mainly affected for his support to tax internet sales.
