“Jim’s past service as an Education Officer and Chief of Air Force Education, combined with his current duties at APUS, gives him a unique and multi-faceted perspective on military voluntary education,” said Carol Gilbert, Senior Vice President of Marketing for APUS. "Jim's leadership role at CCME will benefit from his extensive experience and unwavering commitment to military service members."

Sweizer holds an M.A. in Education from North Dakota State University and a B.A. in Psychology from Minot State University. He is a graduate of the Air War College non-resident program and Harvard University’s Institute for the Management of Lifelong Education.
