The Original, Unedited Bill Clinton/ Gennifer Flowers Tapes Go Up for Auction

The four original tapes with candid conversations between former President Bill Clinton and his mistress, Gennifer Flowers, also known as the "Clinton Tapes" are on the virtual auction block. Own a piece of American history.
I'm doing this for myself.

Las Vegas, NV (Issues Wire / PRWEB) May 20, 2008 -- $5 million : that's how much Gennifer was offered, by a private Japanese businessman, for the four original cassettes that contained candid and intimate conversations that she secretly recorded between herself and then Democratic presidential hopeful Bill Clinton. At the time Gennifer was in the middle of a media maelstrom regarding her alleged twelve year love affair with Bill Clinton.

"As attractive as the offer was, I was scared, and this was the proof that I had to protect myself," Gennifer admits.

Gennifer, a prominent entertainer for many years, has performed her show around the country, but is always planning for her financial future.

"I'm not interested in hurting or helping anyone that's running (for President)," Flowers explain about her decision to sell. "I'm doing this for myself."

Considering the fact that these tapes would be a prized addition to the National Museum of American History, Gennifer is now ready to part with the recordings.

On May 19, 2008, with the assistance of The J. Sugarman Auction Corp. of Miami Florida, Gennifer will put the tapes up for a public, timed auction on a prominent Auctioneer driven website, www.proxibid.com/genniferflowers. The tapes are currently secured in an undisclosed bank vault, and will be available for private previews upon receiving a $25,000 deposit.

Assigned to this project is Arthur Horowitz, former auctioneer for the city of New York. Among other high profile sales, Arthur auctioned off jewelry of the late Playboy Playmate Anna Nicole Smith, after the state of New York repossessed them from the estate of J. Howard Marshall, for nonpayment.

"Well, now is as good a time as any to do this," Arthur explains, "With something of this historic magnitude, all we can do as auctioneers is get the word out to the public and let the asset find its value."

That being said the search is on for that one lucky bidder interested in owning a unique piece of American and world history. Unlike previously released copies, these four tapes are 100% unedited and uncensored revealing portions never heard by anyone other than Gennifer and Bill.
