About William Beaumont Hospitals, Inc.
Beaumont Hospitals opened on January 24, 1955 as a 238-bed community hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. Today, the hospital is a 1,061-bed major academic and referral center with Level 1 trauma status, and is Michigan's first Magnet-designated hospital for nursing excellence.
