This means they can assign entries to freely chosen topics (categories) after the entries have been automatically stored in the database. Example filter assignments include: methods, curves and evaluations to one or more self-defined categories. Furthermore, users can assign as many categories to a curve, a method or an evaluation as needed.
Examples of categories might be: type of sample material (e.g. thermoplastics); customer (e.g. Defense Department); project (e.g. ID721-1); measurement purpose (e.g. quality control); type of experiment (e.g. moisture detection); and any other categories that can potentially be defined.
