WorldatWork Names Several Vice Presidents

WorldatWork, an association of human resource professionals from FORTUNE 500 and other leading organizations worldwide, recently announced the appointments and promotions of several executives.

Scottsdale, Ariz. (Issues Wire / PRWEB) March 18, 2008 -- WorldatWork, an association of human resource professionals from FORTUNE 500 and other leading organizations worldwide, recently announced the appointments and promotions of several executives.

Don Griffith has been named Vice President, Strategy & Public Relations, responsible for strategic organizational planning, implementation and brand management. Griffith has more than 30 years of experience in association management, communications, media relations and government affairs. Prior to joining WorldatWork in 1988, he led employee and dealer communications for U-Haul International for six years and previously was a staff member in the U.S. Congress.

Greg Nelson, CPA, CCP, has been named Vice President and CFO. Prior to joining WorldatWork, Nelson held senior financial positions with Excell Global Services (a service provider to the telecommunications industry) and with Alcoa.

Betty Scharfman has been named Vice President, Marketing and Channel Management, responsible for marketing, business development, customer service, and product management. Prior to joining WorldatWork as a director in 2001, Scharfman held various senior executive roles at Bank One (now Chase), where she worked for 21 years.

Bonnie Kabin, CCP, has been named Vice President, Professional Development. Kabin has 20 years experience in the human resources profession, specializing in total rewards and certification. She joined WorldatWork as a director in 2001 with a diverse background in the energy, banking, investments and healthcare industries.

Dan Dever has been promoted to Associate Director, Business Development, responsible for delivering corporate education and managing strategic alliances. Prior to joining WorldatWork in 2001, Dever was a Senior Vice President for Business Development at Ascendix, Inc.
